For our open mic we prefer performers sign up ahead of time via this form.It helps us prepare for the night and focus our energy on having a good time. We do understand inspiration strikes at any moment and will have some in-person sign up spots saved.
Early sign ups ARE guaranteed a performer spot. We will do our best to get to everyone on the list after this but we do need to be mindful of time and our location's needs as far as their closing time.
The sign up form closes 24hrs before the open mic start time of 7PM and may close earlier on ocassion depending on volume.
We love highlighting our local vendors. We host 3 vendors at each open mic. If you're interested in becoming a vendor, please fill out this form.
There is no vendor fee at this time, though this could be subject to change in the upcoming months. If you're a confirmed vendor and we decide to start charging a vendor fee post confirmation, you will not be responsible for paying the vendor fee.
Sponsors are a major part of how we keep our community going, we are always grateful to have one of our open mics sponsored by a local business. To be a sponsor, please reach out directly to todayscarolina@gmail.com.
We typically will try to have our sponsor be a vendor at the open mic they are sponsoring, though this doesn't always happen due to timing and scheduling conflicts.
A sponsor is a local business that kindly donates a gift or service for Hudson Valley Poetry to raffle during the open mic. All of the proceeds made from raffle sales go towards our community expenses such as: website and domain fees, social media content creation tools, open mic equipment, flyer printouts, community projects and more!
